I haven’t been here in a while – just got busy again. Trying to find work (writing, editing, graphics, etc.), dealing with a lawsuit (got to fight for those rights!), and various other things. Ah, well…I’ll be here more in April –
I saw this on FB and had to include it here: https://www.facebook.com/theglobeandmail/videos/10153998154373904/?fref=nf.
Not reporting a harasser or rapist just protects them, and keeps the system weak. We have to DEMAND justice, even if the system seems uncaring. We have human rights – one of which is not to be attacked. It’s up to us to force the police, the courts, et. al., to take our situation seriously and DO THEIR JOBS. (If it was their wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, etc., who’d been harassed/raped, they wouldn’t just blow it off) Lawyers can (sometimes) help. Amassing people and marching can help. There are options. Make a fuss! It’s in our best interests to DO WHATEVER WE CAN! KEEP FIGHTING THE FIGHT!!!
